CNMP and NMP Development

  •  Optimize farm nutrient use and yields.
  •  Control the farms agronomic and environmental compliance position.
  •  Recognize areas that will benefit from improved efficiency and  sustainability efforts.
  •  Create opportunities for future innovative nutrient management plans.
  •  Reduce fertilizer cost by fine tuning nutrient needs for specific fields.

Why is now a good time to focus on a CNMP or NMP?

  •  May be a pre-requisite to getting funding for other projects like manure  storage, milk house and leachate collection, barnyards and stream  bank fencing.
  •  Best Management Practices (BMP's) identified in the plan provide  validation of changes you might want to make.
  •  Independent fertility recommendations can result in increased
     savings on fertilizer cost.
  •  Larger farms will be positioning themselves for imminent mandatory  regulation.

Fields and Crops Software

Organize Crop information

  •  All crop records in one place and easily accessible.
  •  Organized records for compliance reporting.
  •  Field and Crop identification and histories.
  •  Improved crop and rotation planning.
  •  Fertility recommendations, updated electronically.

Optimize Yields by having the right lists and information

  •  Sub-field management information.
  •  Work lists to identify fields to sample.
  •  Fertility management and recommendations.
  •  Accurate spray and treatment lists.
  •  Manure work order list.

Analyze your system to make better decisions & maintain compliance

  •  Field Compliance Risk report-lists fields at greatest risk of falling out   of compliance with your CNMP.
  •  Projected net fertility change for each field- based on planned
vs.actual actions for the current growing year.
